The Month of Slovenia starts on 1 June in Buenos Aires, which will celebrate and honour the 25th anniversary of the independence of Slovenia and the 200th anniversary of Argentina, commemorating the historical and cultural ties between both countries. A wide range of events will be presented, with a special emphasis on cultural diversity and green development. 

The Month of Slovenia in Buenos Aires is co-organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Buenos Aires and Buenos Aires City Government with the support of numerous cultural institutions from both countries. The opening of the exhibition is on 9 June at 12:00 at the Plaza Vaticano Square near the famous Colón Theatre. The Minister of Culture of Buenos Aires, Darío Lopérfido, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia in Argentina, Jadranka Šturm Kocjan, will open an exhibition, "I Feel Slovenia. I Feel 25." on this occasion. The exhibition will be open until 26 June 2016.
